@1956 and believe that it is most important to be very clear, within yourself, not only what you prefer in a spouse but what you just won't allow into your life - toxicity comes in many forms...
As you may have read in another thread I met my honey online in 2000 and the ad that I wrote was extremely specific, extremely! I was not vegan back then so that wasn't one of the criteria however, thankfully, I was specific enough with the "traits" that I was able to find someone who was thrilled to go vegan along with me and it was a decision we made together. I wish I still had a copy of the ad.
