Nutrition & Diet Fizzy Drink Tax in the UK - Obesity on the Rise

I come to the conclusion after these complicated sums that we are over ruled by junk addicts.
Basicaly, yes.

It is the same problem that faces strictly vegan businesses; Something that m'self and Anne 'Cherubic' Chovie keep revisiting, that.

If your percentage of the market is, say, 1% (roughly right for vegans?) then the population of your potential customers needs to be 100 times greater than that of an equivelant omni-business.

Mebbe a little off topic but we lost one of our local all-vegetarian restaurants to that equation recently.

They had to add chicken and lamb to their menu or go bust.

Very sad :(

Same kinda thing you were talking about there.

Healthier food enterprises having to concede to the overwhelming numbers of filth-eaters or cease to exist at all.

That is also the reason why there are few vegan options in supermarkets - few customers and a waste of shelf space !
