I've been the victim of a suspected dust mite attack! Or possibly something from working in the garden. I got itchy bites all over my legs, much like mosquito bites, possibly a little smaller. I was covered up when working in the garden, so it's not mosquitoes. Some of the bites were in areas mosquitoes definitely can't get to, under normal circumstances at least!

Some bites were close together, 3 or 4 in a row.

I have sensitive skin...

Could it be dust mites?

The itching has mostly stopped now as it happened a couple of days ago.

Hmmm, if it looks like flea bites, itches like flea bites, ...

... that would be my suspicion.

Do you have any nonhuman companions?
It does sound a bit like flea bites, but we have never found any evidence of fleas in the house, despite looking carefully, even with a magnifying glass. (And this is not the first time I get these bites, either.) Also, none of the other two humans in the house have ever had any such bites on them. We don't have any non-human family members, but the neighbours' cat comes visiting frequently.

It also sounds a bit like chigger bites. Apparently, there is a chigger species here in the UK called 'harvest mites'. If so, I probably got it from clearing out wilderness in the garden.
