The kits on Amazon are wool. I imagine this is wool as well. Thanks for mentioning that @Raven (in a non judgmental way). I was going to look into doing more of it but now I won't bother unless I can find synthetic felt.
I know, how weird as I hadn't thought about felt in years! She said she got it as a gift from someone but she didn't know whether to throw it away as she wasn't sure if it was an animal product or not.
