I'm looking for inspiration for new vegan recipes. And here the question arises - does it make sense to include the section "Using wild plants". Does this topic have any relevance to veganism at all and does it have the right to be on my site? Recently I wrote about a drink made from wild nettle. There are plans to expand the section. Is it worth it?

I forgot to add: I understand that wild plants are more likely to be healing, refreshing drinks... But still.

We call it foraging. I believe that many of us remember back in a day, searching for elderflower, brambleberries and other plants such as mushrooms and also sorrel. It's a very enjoyable pastime to be able to pick and cook plants for free. I always pick bay leaves, rosemary and thyme where I live as it's plentiful and tastes so much better compared to shop bought herbs.

Foraging still exists in the UK but it's better to learn via someone who has the expertise as many plants are poisonous. Wild garlic is wildly foraged in the countryside, however, some plants look similar and are also poisonous. So a word of caution, only pick plants that you know are safe to consume.
