Whatcha Eatin?

Nothing right now- but lunch was slow-cooker brown rice and broccoli (leftover, from fridge) with canned red kidney beans, 2 handfuls of raw unsalted hulled sunflower kernels, an apple (variety: golden something-or-other), and french bread from the supermarket. And some fresh raw broccoli. Water to drink.

it is a holiday here today and I am having trouble deciding if I wish to have something kinda fruity and have my noodley soup for dinner or if I will have it for brunch as per my usual Monday...

yesterday I just had a tortilla wrap (protein) with peanut butter, jam and a banana

today I had to be out by 9:45 so I had a squeezable baby food lol, a banana and a teaspoon of peanut and then was taken out for lunch and had an Avacado tempeh BLT and some cauliflower wings which didn't look or taste anything like wings - brought half the sandwich home for my honey

I can't believe how expensive it is to eat out and the food was not a patch on what we can cook for ourselves - it was nice to be out and about tho'.

I am having one of the Dinnerly meals, a chik'n sweet and sour dish that is really good. I have now had 3 meals and all of them have been easy to prepare, don't take very long, and are delicious. I am impressed! The plant based chicken they provided was Daring brand which I have seen at Publix but never tried. It is pretty good. The bag was pieces of chik'n with no coating. I have ended up with an extra onion so I guess somebody goofed up when they packed the box. The box I got today is only one meal because I am going out of town next week and the portions last me a few days. I also got a dessert which is a lemon cake. They provided the cake mix, a lemon, and the powdered sugar to top it. You are supposed to add eggs but I will use egg replacer. I like this company the best so far. Lots of choices and you can customize the menu.
 
I suddenly felt hungry so I made a salad with vegan Greek style cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, green olives and olive oil. Really lovely in the sunny weather. Now I'm having a glass of white wine.
