Pomplamoose is a Northern California band. Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn are the original and founding members. Nataly and Jack are married to each other. Jack and Nataly are both graduates from Stanford. Jack studied music Nataly was an Art and French student. Pomplamoose is a misspelling of the French word for grapefruit, pomplamousse.
In the beginning Pompamoose did what they called VideoSongs. All the instruments you heard were also in the video.
Jack is also the co-founder and CEO of Patreon.
Jack is also the co-leader of Scary Pockets and the band Magazine.
I'm going thru a period where I have a band-crush with Scary Pockets.
I believe Scary Pockets is LA based.
I just learned that Nataly has been diagnosed with skin cancer which may explain why we don't see her much anymore.
