So I just finished the audio book, Margo Has Money Troubles. It was great

To sort of illustrate how great it was, towards the end, I was listening to it in the car and started cheering.

They made it into a TV series on Apple TV. My sister watched it and hadn't read the book. She recommended it to me. I've started it but hasn't got that far. It IS very good.

I might have to check out that series as I need new shows since my regular network shows are all ending their seasons.

I just finished volume 6, "Byzantine & Renaissance Philosophy" in the "History of Philosophy Without any Gaps" series and have moved on to volume 7, "Africana Philosophy." This series attempts to fill in many gaps left out of other philosophical histories, most notably many usually excluded groups, including women, of which there were far more than usually discussed. For example, volume 6 included entire chapters on Anna Komnene, Christine de Pizan, and numerous Italian women humanists. It also discusses elements of the larger culture around the topic that led to that society's type of thinking. I've enjoyed all 6 volumes so far. Volume 8 arrives in July.
