What are you craving?

Corn on the cob, but I know it's too early for that. I could buy non-local corn (it is at the grocery store), but that corn never tastes as good as the locally grown version. I'll just have to be patient. :D

A lemon tart.
I swear I've seen a recipe for a vegan tarte citron. it might have been BOSH, but I can't find it just now. If I do, I'll let you know.

My guess would be soft tofu, sugar, lemon juice, a bit of gram flour for firmness and a good dollop of aquafaba. I might experiment at the weekend.

I know how to bake them; no worries. It's just that it's too hot over here and I also have no time. :grinning: I make a plant base kind of lemon curd with fresh lemon juice and zest, cornflour and Flora. You don't need silken tofu or aquafaba.

Thanks. 👍

I've made lemon bars like shyvas says, but I've saved this recipe made with tofu--
That site has my favorite vegan brownie recipe

chips of almost any kind, or crackers. not so much the thing, but the experience of sitting on the couch and eating too much of them, right outta the bag or box.
I guess I'll make popcorn, that would be a better choice o_O

@silva Yep. I often crave unsalted potato chips- but it's the LEAST healthy way to eat that vegetable, so I usually cook them in my slow-cooker. Also- I tend to demolish the whole bag when I get chips, whereas I have no trouble putting most of the baked potatoes in the fridge and eating them over 2-3 days and several meals. They don't spoil, and I don't gorge on them: win-win!
