Northeast Visiting Long Island and NY City

[Second Summer]

I'm going on a work trip to Long Island and then New York City next month. It's very exciting

Any ideas to restaurants I should be visiting, sights I should see etc?

I'll have a weekend or so to myself in NY City, but expect to be spending most of the remaining time working.

Do I need to bring particularly warm clothes?

I understand that in NYC, the Candle Cafe is the holy grail of vegan restaurants. Or at least it used to be. I don’t know if it still is.

I'll get back to you. I spent so much time in NYC during the first half of my life, I considered it my second home. LOL

Honestly, the way it’s been the last two years, it’s a crap shoot. February can be bitter and we’ve been having some below average temps the past few weeks. But also some unseasonably warm days. Here’s a look at the next ten days. We can check again as the time gets closer.
