What kind or brand of vegenaise do you eat?

In Canada, it seems we no longer get Earth Island. This was my go-to, and after noticing it seeming to become difficult to find, I have looked online and from what I found so far, it is no longer sold in Canada. I am still looking to make sure if this is true or not.

If so I am going to need to find a new go-to vegenaise.

I don't eat much Mayo, so I don't shop for it that often and just get what I can find on the shelf.
right now in my frig I have a bottle of Best Food Plant Based Mayo.

I haven't had Vegenaise in probably 10 years, at the time I liked it but felt it was too pricey. For a while Just Mayo was out and quite cheap here, I liked that even better, but has been discontinued
Honestly my favorite is homemade, and very cheap.
This is the basic recipe I use--

In a bowl suited to using an immersion blender add:
1/2 cup (100ml) cold plain soy milk
1 tsp powdered mustard (to emulsify)
1 Tbsp lemon
1 tsp vinegar
3/4 tsp salt
Blend, then slowly drizzle in a neutral oil. I don't measure it just slowly blend till thick (about 1 1/2 cups?)
Put in a glass jar, and if you always use a clean utensil it should last in fridge about 2 weeks
I use instead of spread on veggies, potato, noodlles rice---a great base for sauces

I have used about half olive oil when I found I didn't have enough canola. It was even thicker and if you like the flavor of olive oil it was very good

I also made it with the aquafaba from canned chickpeas. It makes a thinner (or maybe I just didn't add as much oil?), but I don't find it as good, and nothing like mayo. It does sub for using oil in foods

I really need to make my own mayo. I get the original Vegenaise or Hellman's plant-based mayo, but it's so pricey.

As long as you have a good immersion blender it's so easy. I use a 4 cup measure to chill the soymilk, it's easiest to use an immersion in. It is important to drizzle in the oil as you blend. Lemon or vinegar are either/or. I think it's as good or better than Just Mayo.
I don't think this works with other non dairy milk. I've only used ones in cartons-Trader Joes or Costco which has some additives
I dislike Hellmans vegan. I think it's fine when first opened but quickly tastes plastic-y

I have never been a big fan of mayo and since being vegan I just use hummus every place I may have used mayo in the past. You can always add mustard powder and other spices to it also soy sauce, maple syrup etc. I get the 12 pack from Walmart of hummus (much cheaper than Loblaws) and just open as many small cups as I need at a time. $6.74

Yeah, I'm not a huge Hellman's fan, either, but I doctor it up a lot. It's cheaper than Vegenaise most of the time.
I do have a good immersion blender, so I don't really have an excuse not to make it. I was wondering if it would work with almond milk, but I think soy milk is creamier.

I hardly use mayo. It makes no sense for me to make it myself with such a short shelf life in the fridge. I might only use a tablespoon or so every couple of weeks. Often, I'm using it in a recipe or mixed with other ingredients for a sauce of some kind. I opt for the cheaper Hellman's brand for that reason, plus it last way longer. You folks are right though, it isn't as good as Veganaise or homemade.

I haven't had any for quite some time, but I've used (and liked) Vegenaise, Just Mayo, and Hellman's Eggless Spread(?) on sandwiches. I forget what Hellman's calls their vegan "mayonnaise" exactly, but they don't call it that. I might have bought it more than once if Hellman's hadn't given at least one vegan mayo producer legal problems for calling their version "mayonnaise". I thought it was anal of them; I've seen wheatless versions of pasta in the grocery store, but I don't know of any pasta manufacturers complaining about that.
