Hi guys!

I was wondering where do you get yor vitamin d from?

Do you supplement? And if yes, how often?

I have never supplemented vitamin d in the past but I think I will, cause I don't get so much sunlight as I used to.

What kind of vegan supplements do you use? I think of buying ora organic supplement mentioned on article Vegan Vitamin D Supplements and Foods - TasteEco

What are your experiences with vegan vitamin d supplements?

It's on sale now for $16.99, 30 pills, 2000 IU each. Regular price $29.99!

This is why vitamin D keeps from being vegan! I take 5000 IU daily as even a year on 2000 (after initial boosting) I was only at 30. For years I had such crippling pain in my feet and ankles, and was just sent to specialists and mris. I asked for a D test when I found out I was never tested!

I simply can't afford, nor really willing to try it as I've already found cheaper ordinary D3 pills weren't effective

Just giving my story here, not trashing vegan D3

If you are severely defficiant you have to get medication, because regular supplements can only maintain your norms, and not increase it from such low levels as 30

Oh yes! That's what I meant by after 'initial boosting', I think it was like 50000 a week for a while, don't quite remember, but yes, a massive dose followed by maintance.
I keep telling myself I'll try vegan D at some point, but that additional cost has so much competition for additional costs!
