Vegan in Egypt

Are there any vegans from Egypt? I am planning to travel to Egypt next year and I would like to connect with vegans there. I would like to know how to stay vegan in Egypt? Are there good cheaper authentic Egyptian vegan food I can eat anywhere in Egypt?
I would like to know all about it.

Egypt is on my boycott list. This country has not as yet adopted a protection animal Protection Act;moreover, they poison dogs roaming the streets. Their attitude towards animals, especially dogs, is not acceptable.
