If there are some new blended flavors like matcha or avocado vegan ice-cream, will you give it a go?

Hi all, I am curious to know if there are some new blended flavors like matcha or avocado vegan ice-cream/snack bars in the market, will you be willing to give it a try? and why?

Hello, Tisha. I'm not sure about avocado ice cream. Matcha doesn't sound like something I would want in ice cream. I think I'd be more interested in an ice cream that didn't contain palm oil, was lower in sugar content, was fortified with calcium or vitamins or something so I would feel less bad about eating it or feeding it to my daughter.

-Oh, that's nice to know, not even something like matcha-vanilla ice-cream or avocado peanut butter ice-cream? (I guess those flavors are too new)

-What kind of flavors would you be interested in buying?

IS, you should definitely give that one a try!
It is a very popular taste in Japan (but supposedly rather strange for Europeans, until they taste it). I had wonderful Matcha icecream (both non-vegan in my pre-vegan days, and vegan in recent years)

I'd try those flavors just for the hell of it. No guarantee I'd like them, but why not. :p

At Japanese restaurants, they have green tea and ginger ice creams, although they're usually not vegan.

And maybe she meant "name" instead of "same" (typo)

I would try ginger matcha. I'd try just about anything ginger other than if had avocado. Nothing avocado for me! Or peanut butter- i dislike that in ice cream
I like matcha, ginger and pineapple smoothies so yes!

A dark chocolate sorbet with crystallized ginger pieces is my dream cream! Pierres has a vegan dark chocolate sorbet and I've mixed some ginger in it, it was wonderful!

I'm willing to give most things a try, not sure about avocados though. I've tried them in desserts before and didn't like the flavor.

I second the spumoni, I used to love getting that at Italian restaurants.

awesome! what different flavors (from the conventional ones in the market) would you like to have on your spumoni?

I'm all about the traditional spumoni flavors (pistachio, cherry and chocolate (I know vanilla is sometimes used instead of chocolate, to mimic the colors o the Italian flag)).

If it's not the traditional flavors, then it's not spumoni, it's just an ice cream medley.

I'm also one who doesn't like the idea of avocado ice cream. IMO, avocado is a savory food, not a sweet one.

Other than spumoni, I like chocolate, coffee, almond, cherry, raspberry, orange, lemon, or lime in ice cream flavors.

I love peanut butter, but not as an ice cream flavor. I tend to prefer ginger in savory dishes instead of in sweets.

And white chocolate, in any form, is an abomination.

I made that peppermint drink that mary posted...it was a take off of the shamrock shake, I think. It was made with avocado and it was really good. I might like avocado ice cream.

I'm not sure but matcha flavored ice cream sounds very familiar. I feel like I might have tried it at some point but didn't like it much. Weird that I don't remember and yet it feels like I did.

good stuff

I had a green tea Frappuccino once, it was horrible. I threw it away after the second sip. If matcha is like that, I won't like it.

I had some sort of tea ice cream in an Asian restaurant once years ago though and I liked that.
