News UK general election 2015 discussion

I have thought for a while that a lot of people in the UK under the age of 35 have really been screwed but the new budget has really cemented it for me. It might be okay in principle to say that young people should be earning money or studying and not end up languishing on benefits but not every young person has the same opportunities. Young people of 18-21 with a troubled and abusive background will really be hit hard by the way housing benefit may be taken away from them if they want to leave home.

I think that some people may have voted Conservative as they have been fooled by the whole "Hard working families" crap they were pushing before the election and now have had cold water thrown on them as they must realise that Tories thought that tax credits were the obvious way of cutting the welfare bill.
