The weather has finally aligned with the season. 50° F here instead of 80°-90° which made little sense in October. Wetness prevails so staying in and reading prevails. We're attending a Halloween show tonight which thankfully takes place indoors.
It's going to be unseasonably warm this coming week...69F almost every day. I'm so mad. That's about ten degrees too warm for me for November. I know it's going to be a long depressing winter because of the super El Niño so I'm getting ready for it. I'll live. Maybe my heating costs will be lower. Trying to look on the bright side.
Thought this was funny except for the winter of course. I do very well.
When the Sun and Earth have the proximity they usually do in November, bitter coldness and snow often follow. Instead, it's 50°F out, I'm still wearing a light jacket, and we saw people running in t-shirts and shorts today sweating. I don't think it's a false memory, but when I was a kid I swear it would snow heavily every September or October and grass wouldn't reappear until March or April. Now a ground full of snow for more than a few days qualifies as a notable event.
