Still rainy and gloomy here today, but it's supposed to at least be in the 60s F.

I'm getting a taxi to the train station, but I'm worried about the walk from Embankment station when I get into London even though it is only 10 mins walk!

Another hot day for us today. It is nearly 80 already and not even 8 in the morning!

Here in Ireland we are currently experiencing a Heat Wave!
Well, sort of - yesterday there was a top temperature of 24c! The best part for me is that it has been relatively calm, just a lovely light breeze…
Today might have been a slight bit cooler, but it was still a Gorgeous day!
Tomorrow is forecast to be nice again and then on Thursday it will be back to normal - mild, cloudy with a chance of showers…

Yesterday was sweltering in London. I walked to the wrong pizza restaurant as well so I had to walk around for about 20 minutes to get to the correct one.

We got some rain this evening and the summer pattern of daily rain is starting.

Yesterday was cold but I resisted turning on the heat. I was uncomfortable though. Woke up this morning and it's only 42F outside.

I really don't like this fluctuation from too hot to cold but I guess I have no choice but to roll with it. I'm hearing a lot about a super El Niño bringing extreme weather, both hit/cold temps but not necessarily many storms/hurricanes. It's expected to be a slow hurricane season. I guess we will see how/if it plays out the way they say.

It is really warm already, 77F, and will be around 90 later with heat indexes in the mid 90's. We have gotten rain every day for the last few days which is badly needed. Same forecast for today and will be pretty much the same for the whole summer which is highs in the 90's and chances of rain/thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
