we had that weather over this past weekend and it was a nightmare as we have had cold weather leading up to it and cold weather again now so our building has not switched the boiler to the chiller so no a/c was available - our vehicle a/c was not working either so it was awful - cool weather for the next while and sunny

On and rain today. Tomorrow it's expected to rain all day. Monday will be similar to today. I'm fine with it as I don't do anything special for Memorial Day weekend. But I feel bad for those who have outdoor plans.

Here in Ireland it’s considered a Heat Wave when the temperatures get around 20c!
We are forecast to reach 19c this week…
Personally, I would Enjoy getting to above 20c!

My mom is usually moved in to the beach house by now, but the weather has not cooperated. It's been too cold at night to stay there, as there is no heat, just a little space heater that my mom is loath to use because it's jacks up the electric bill. We are hoping to get her moved in this week, though, as the weather is supposed to finally meet seasonal averages.

As for today, it's cold and rainy. We would have spent the day at the cottage if the weather had been nicer. And I would have made a proper cookout/feast of macaroni salad, fruit salad and grilled veggies and Beyond burgers. <sigh>

Still in the habit of wearing a light coat, I put it on automatically before going out into the world today, only to discover a temperature of 81° F. It didn't take long for a layer of sweat to form. Still, it's very nice weather for this part of the globe in any case. Things could definitely be worse.
