The Weather.

Cool, really cool because of the cold wind and it’s grey…
Rain keeps being forecast, but doesn’t come…
The rain would be most welcome…
It sure doesn’t feel like Spring.

We've been sooooo wet, windy and chilly. Today started in the mid 30F, but did warm up in the afternoon
Next week they're predicting 80 🙄

It's going to be a tad warmer today with temps around 17°C/18°C with a breeze. Yesterday's weather was perfect, 15°C with a gentle breeze and it reminded me of Brighton.

Ideal weather when catching/de stringing pidges in town.

It's gorgeous out today. I'm taking my mom over to the beach house to get a few things done. She'll be supervising, lol. It actually hasn't been warm enough to stay overnight there yet. We have some repairs to finish before my mom can settle in for the summer. It won't be long, though.

Not gonna lie...I'm kind of excited to be waking up to an inside temp of 78 degrees F in the morning. 😄 Late afternoons are rough though. Too hot and I'm not turning on the AC yet.

Same on the AC. I was home on Monday, and I just hung out in my woman cave, as it was nice and cool down there. I unfurled the awning over my deck to help keep the sun out. I'm back to my mom's today, and it is 15 to 20 degrees cooler here down by the coast. I'm not ready for 95 F, lol.

I don't have a cave and when it gets hot, it's not very pleasant being in a south west facing flat. However, I do put the AC on during the night once it hits the 30C's.
The town centre will also be a nightmare and I don't know how I'm going to manage to help the pidges!

I don't blame you for putting on the AC. If I didn't have another option, I might do the same at night. It's brutal to try to sleep when it's so hot and humid.

It is already 81F at 10 AM. I have been opening my windows when I get up around 7 and try to hold off turning on the AC until it gets to 80 inside. At night I have to run my bedroom AC at 66F which I read somewhere is the optimum sleeping temp. It is going to be a very hot summer!

My house faces southwest. The sun is brutal in the afternoon.
