Couple people at work have them and like them very much. They just look like headphones around their neck. This silly looking thing.
Might work for me!

It is a total change here. It is much cooler and raining.
That's one interesting thing about the far-northern latitudes: the longest day of the year is REALLY LONG.Not strictly "weather".
But one great thing about where I am at this time of the year.

Indeed. We are not that far north(most of Alaska is further north) (we are at around 59-60 deg North), but high enough so we just about get some residual light at midnight for a few days a year. That's one interesting thing about the far-northern latitudes: the longest day of the year is REALLY LONG.
...'course, the flip side of that is that the longest night in winter is really long too... but some folks like that. Anyway, traveling to a far-northern area and experiencing a long day is sort of on my bucket list. I suppose going during the winter and seeing the aurora borealis at night would be a blast too, but the aurora is so unpredictable... the sun has to be doing its thing spewing charged particles AND you need a clear sky.
We only had rain in the very early morning hours. I was able yo walk at 7 am. It's still mostly overcast but so much cooler. No a/c necessary! It's cooler and rainy today. Welcome relief from the nasty heat wave.

You're having some crazy heat over there. Is this usual for it being so early in the season?35°C![]()
