The Weather.

Unbearable. 🥵 🥵 🥵

we are about to 'know the feeling' - we have had a pretty cool spring, for which I am grateful, today is 25C feels like 33C (79F / 93F) and Sunday Monday Tuesday are forecast to be 35C feels like 46C (95F / 115F)

that is pretty crazy for us

I am making sure all my spare water bottles are full for flushing the toilet and for drinking and am going to spend the next few days making bags of ice so that if we lose power I won't lose all my food in the freezer.

It is going to be a very hot couple of weeks.

That’s hot.
We had 33-35C last weekend but I was staying at a friend’s house.

My freezer isn’t working and I can’t make ice cubes.

We don’t usually get power cuts and water isn’t too expensive.
Unlike my neighbours I’m savvy and am careful with water and electricity.

Looks like we're in for it next week starting Monday. I'll just stay indoors with the fan...and AC if necessary. I'd like to see if I can do without it though.

Very hot here as is normal for summer in Florida! Rain is scattered throughout the area. Haven't seen any here in a couple of days with temps in the 90's.

Hear on NPR Alaska is having heat alerts!

Hasn't been too hot here yet, yet almost every day is a chance of rain. Today is mid 80's and on/off storms. Blue skies in between. Weird

I'm going to try to do without the AC as well. Everything is costing more, and I just want to save some money somewhere.

It's going to be 35°C over here today and it's already unbearable.

An amber heat health alert has been issued across England, as temperatures are expected to reach above 30C today.

According to the Met Office's latest forecasts, much of the south of England will see temperatures between 31C (87.8F) and 32C by Thursday afternoon, with temperatures above 20C across almost all of the UK.

we watched this last night and it is not pleasant news... the humidity is the issue - I remember vacationing in the Bahamas one year and the a/c in the condo we rented was on the fritz in the bedroom and the one in the livingroom had a 15 minute timer on it - trying to breath felt like I was drowning

It's 27c here right now and gorgeous...the humidity is low and there's a nice breeze.
I would not drive anywhere without A/C unless I absolutely had to.

Another hot day as usual. There were thunderstorms all over the place but here all it did was get dark and rumble and no rain at all. I will have to water my plants!

Same on the AC, especially when it's humid. I have all my windows open. I'm going to enjoy it because apparently it's going to get super hot and humid the next few days. <sigh>

It is going to get up to 30 today. This is the good thing about living in an old house as it keeps quite cool, especially on the north facing side and that is where we have our living room now. I don't even think I need to get the electric fan out.
