Since getting kittens Tortellini and Alfredo I have a whole new list of annoyances lol.
I cannot open a closet or a drawer without them jumping in. I've had to take my frequently used items like makeup, lotion, hair accessories, and put them in a container with a lid and leave it on top of the dresser. If I open the closet they're in there in a flash climbing up my clothes.
I can't get dressed with them in the room because they go after the pant and arm legs of anything that I'm trying to put on my body.
I can't put shoes on when they're around because they go after my feet and shoe laces.
They sharpen their claws on my shoes so now I have snags in most of them.
They climb my legs so now my jeans have snags in them.
They can climb just about anything… The table, the counters... they are frequently in the sink. The only upside to that is everything has to stay neat and clean lol. But then I don't live alone so that needs to go into the human grip thread. Yes I know… It says grip… But I said grippe. Geez, Siri it's still spelling it wrong. What is her problem? But I digress.
I worry most about the stove because while I am vigilant to cover any burner that remains hot after it's been turned off, I cannot count on the other two family members to do so. So again it's left to me to be constantly vigilant.
I can't put makeup on in the bedroom because I never know when they're going to jump on me and they almost blinded me with my mascara brush.
I'm sure there's more… I just can't think off the top of my head right now.
Oh yeah, they play with water. I have to put their water bowl inside another larger bowl because they are ruining my wood floors. And even that doesn't stop them from making a mess.
I was tidying up earlier and I found a little blue toy I had bought for my dog and obviously had forgotten about in a cupboard. It was face down and I put it in her dog bed.
