The coffee Lovers thread

I used to love the regular Silk chocolate milk (never had the protein drink). For extra protein I'm hooked on the ripple chocolate and vanilla, which I add coffee to.
I find making hot chocolate with the cacao powder to be really good. For me, it's better with regular soy milk as opposed to almond or other non dairy milks. Soy milk seems to be the least watery so makes for a good hot chocolate. Of course, I have to add sugar too.

This is my favorite.

what proportions do you use for hot cacao.
I tried 3 Tbsp of cacao. 300 ml of vanilla soy milk, 1/2 tsp sugar
some people use maple syrup and some add vanilla extract, too.

I found a way to cut my coffee calories in half, seeing as how I make my coffee into a latte with almost equal parts of creamer and very strong coffee. I bought soy milk… So I use 80ml of soy milk, and 60ml of the creamer. I do need an extra half of a teaspoon of sugar because the creamer is sweet, so of course I have to make up for that lol. And while it's not as good as when I use all creamer, I can enjoy a full cup of coffee for about 95 calories instead of 200-240. 😁 And if I keep my snacking in check I can have a 2nd cup in the afternoon.

I have very strong white coffee with part soya cream/part soya milk and there's no way that it adds up to 240 cals.

It's my silk soy creamer...I use a ton of it if I'm having a full 6/8 ounce cup of coffee. I have measured/weighed it. If I make a big mug of it, it's 12-15 tablespoons of creamer. At 15 calories per tablespoon (my app calculated it at 20 calories for some reason) it adds up. Then 1-2 tsp of sugar. So my math might have been off a bit because I was using 20 calories per tablespoon...it still comes out to 200-225 calories.

Yep lol. That's why I'm always complaining that in order to lose weight I have to give up coffee lol

What I usually do is make a cop take three sips with one to 2 tablespoons of creamer and then I add the rest of the coffee to my vanilla protein shake because at least then I'm getting protein with the calories. But it is working out well with the soy milk and just a little bit of creamer. I just had a 2nd cup.

Apparently coffee is like dessert for me lol. And the other odd piece to it is that it's not even caffeinated. I don't know why I love it so much. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I got a coffee bean grinder and I am happy to say that the fresh ground coffee IS better!
and you can store it much longer! I stocked up on my favorite beans as the price has just kept going higher!

Coffee is my favorite flavor! I like hot coffee plain, but I love hard coffee candies, and sweetened iced. I add instant to almost every chocolate dessert. I also like the delgado coffee
I've never had vegan coffee ice cream--unfortunately I haven't found a satisfying vegan ice cream flavor. I just quit trying
