I loved SC and SC2. 3 and 4 were flops IMO. I hope they get it right this time.

They mention multilayer, but I hope there's a single player mode, and from the looks of the graphics you may need a powerful gaming computer.

...which would exclude me..

That looks really nice. I loved the original SimCity, but I got bored with the sequels.
I'm not sure if my current computer setup could handle the graphics. Next time my husband upgrades his, I'll get his fancy graphics card, though.

I love how in SimCity they parody our society so much. Everything is either pretentious or utterly useless in any plausible non-metagame fashion.

What is also fun is tormenting the little people. Sort-of like on Roller Coaster Tycoon where you can dig everyone into a pit and trap them there so they're forced to buy your food and use your bathrooms and trash cans. Quick money! You can even have a separate money pit from your actual theme park, so you can farm and continue to build your park up.
