i started drinking when i was about 15 acting as a waiter for a sporting group
not what i'd reccomend these days to all the young kids growing up, although truth be told i got wasted #maggot
which is a different story regarding detox altogether (basically... eat your broccoli food group ")
yet i digress...
eventually i realised that even though an avid drinker, highly functioning, maybe i could try sobriety for a while
which i did
and one of the things i learned is about ETYMOLOGY of the word ALGOL
= It is said that the word “Alcohol” comes from the Arabic “Al-Kuhul,” which means “Body-Eating Spirit.” This is not the correct etymology* however, I understand why people say that. It is a perfect description of what it does to those who drink: They let its spirit consume them.

although it got me thinking again recently as i've been learning about the different possible benefits/uses of alcohol
what is red wine? how is it different from white wine or cognac/brandy? why does an open bottle of white vinegar made from grapes make the air cold? what is the scientific name of grapes? etc... etc... etc...
and for a spot of trivia, grape scientific food group is "vitales" (possibly your "vital self" if etymology counts for anything?)
so if we sold our soul to the devil, which is a popular term, one could equate that to drinking alcohol to sell our scientific named self to algol
i kid you not, this is the type of stuff i think about lol
anyway, the scientific name for apple food group is "rosaceae" and i love apple cider...
so what if you could detox the idea of "a chronic skin condition that causes redness, visible blood vessels, and often acne-like bumps on the face, primarily on the cheeks, chin, nose, and forehead." from your aura or scientific named self (or portion of) with what then would be termed medicinal mead in the form of naturally fermented apple drink
