I was reading Dr Greger's chapter on infectious diseases and wow! So much harm animal agriculture causes us!! Pathogens in meat, eggs and dairy; hormones and antibiotics; infectious diseases caused by various animals. I never knew the common cold was caused by horses! And TB caused by goats, etc.
We would probably be better off to let the animals coexist with us, without eating them, milking them or eating their eggs!
Its better to be ECO-logical and see ourselves as in a circle with other animals, all of us equal. Not EGO-logical where people lord it over all other creatures. Look where that has gotten us!
