This one's a beauty:

Okay, now for some "feel good all over" music...

"Peppermint Rainbow"... band names don;t get much more '60's than that!!! Love the melody, the harmony, the instruments, the vibe... Why didn't I know about this song when it came out??

You're welcome, KLS52 and Digger!

I'm going back through this thread and giving the vids a listen, but there's a lot here. (I was wondering why most of the videos have ads for drug rehab popping up...)

Rosie, that "song to help you remember to forget" by the Slow Dancing Society is nice abnd chill. There's a radio show with ambient music in my area that airs late at night on the weekends, but somehow the stuff they play is always depressing as hell. They ought to hire you as a DJ.

Speaking of depressing music... here's a sure-fire antidote from Traffic's album, "John Barleycorn Must Die":

It can get kind of monotonous if you're not in the mood for it, but if you are, you just want it to keep on going.

The title track from the album is interesting, and strange- near as I can tell, it's a fanciful song about raising barley and making whiskey out of it.

Cerebellion, "Storm Before the Calm" by Anathema was interesting- gotta listen to it again soon!

Beanstew, I love brass music but wouldn't have expected to hear a lot of it in a folk music festival. I'll have to listen to that again too. ETA: VERY nice Friday music you posted back in late June...

Question: some of these linked videos have been "removed due to copyright violations" or something like that... our listening to them here isn't the problem, is it? The video I linked to by kd lang (GOD, I love that song...) is on Warner Brothers/Sire records website, and I'd think they wouldn't mind the traffic.

Edited to add: Who wants to get the led out?... Let me take you there...
