A New Framing of Being Vegetarian & Vegan

I think people being careful about how food is prepared or excluding some foods is a little different from people avoiding an entire food group though. Plus, having certain food preferences is different from avoiding an extensive range of foods, clothes, coverings, cosmetics, medicines etc.

I don't know, I've seen plenty of people say it does. My answer to this is simply to not bother identifying as A vegan. I mean, who cares? That said, a central plank of vegan philosophy is there being alternatives. That was recognised very early on and is the central reason that Leslie Cross founded the Plant Milk Society. The philosophy isn't the blind rejection of animal-sourced products and services regardless of context or circumstances. The founders saw part of the transition to a vegan world being the development and availability of alternatives.
Do you know anything about Kosher law? It's so far above and beyond anything vegan, extending far beyond foods. Yet people abide by that because it is their belief

What does plant milk have to do with rejecting animal sourced products, or transitioning? They're just beverages
