What Are You Afraid Of
As for the article writer's statement about not fearing gluten, some of the commenters on the site complained that Parade made light of the fear of gluten. I more or less agree that some people do HAVE to fear gluten, but I believe it's also a commentary on the fact that a lot of people who don't need to avoid gluten will do it anyway because they think it's a bad thing to consume (like carbohydrates, or fat), which isn't necessarily the case.
