What do you think of this?

I'd be very amazed if that man never told a lie in his life, or in fact doesn't tell little white lies regularly as most of us do in our day to day lives whether we admit it or not. Lying is not a black and white issue. It's very nuanced and the boundaries between tact and dishonesty are extremely blurred. By trying to instill draconian values in his child, this man is morally confusing and harming this child's mind, and he'll eventually either grow up to be distrustful of authority or utterly crushed by it. Just like everyone else.

Yes I think it is one of those "there are two kinds of people in the world" types of things. Those who distrust authority and those who are crushed by it.

In an effort to be different, I have decided to be crushed by authority AND to distrust it.

Because I'm a contrarian.
