Give it a whirl. Prepare to disappointed, though. Vincent and the Doctor is the only one worth it post 10, imho.I'm starting Series Four for the first time. Judging from all the hate in this thread, should I just stop once 10 becomes 11...?
I'm still not looking forward to the transition... David Tennant is best Doctor.
I prefer Matt Smith.
Aaand now I probably need to duck and cover...

Yeah, I think most of my problems with 11 is that Moffat is just a really shitty writer.
I love love LOVE Sherlock, though. So he must just be really bad at science fiction.
Sherlock is amazing! No strong female characters, though. And the 90-minute episodes can fit more story in. Plus, it's on after the watershed so the stories don't have to be jammed into a "family-friendly" format. (Though some DW episodes have really pushed the line, IMO, in terms of violence.)
I must be the only guy in the universe that prefers 9 to any of the others. Eccleston brought a sort of nihilism and bastardry to the character that I really liked. I have to join with some of the others and say I didn't like Tennant at all. He was too much 'Oh Em Gee, Sad Emo' for me. While he was getting in touch with his feelings toward his companion, I wanted to get in touch with my vomit bucket
