My daughter came to visit and we were looking for a late evening place to eat. Most places had already closed, and we ended up at Culver's. I did check, and they had a veggie burger on the menu. I didn't expect much since most traditional burger places are a little iffy about their veggie options. I was really surprised. It was a REALLY good veggie burger. It was also reasonably priced. $5.97, so I got a veggie burger and fries for under $10.

I had given up on the Burger King Impossible Burger because they cook them up all at once, put them in this little steamer cabinet, and I get a burger that was cooked a long time ago. That is how you get a burger that fast. At Culver's, they don't cook anything until you order it, so we had to wait a while to get our food.

If you have a Culver's in your area, I would strongly recommend that you try it. One of my best experiences with veggie burgers. They do put non vegan mayo on their veggie burgers, so make sure to tell them to delete the mayo.

I didn't know that about BK. however it doesn't surprise me.
I still go there for Whopper Wednesday's every once in a while.

I was thinking of just buying some frozen patties but the $4 deal is hard to beat.

I usually didn't go to BK during the lunch or evening rush times, so at 3pm I would see them reach into this heated cabinet, and I would get this dry burger. That is how I knew it was the leftovers from lunch. Also, BK was it cooking well done as if it was meat. They have to cook meat burgers well done for safety reasons, but well done on a Impossible Burger is a hard, dry slab.
