Art, whats your style?

I'm not sure I have a style. I'm going to have to think about it.

ETA: This is hard! So far I like post-Impressionism and Impressionism but I have more searching to do.

ETA again: Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood has some cool stuff.

I don't know tons about art, but my taste varies. I like impressionists, but I also like realists, such as Andrew Wyeth, mostly his landscapes. There is sometimes a sparseness about them that really lets my mind wander and imagine when I look at them.

I could look at this one for hours:

I don't know much about visual art, although almost every imaginable style of music has something I like: classical (meaning Renaissance (sp?), Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionist, some modern); big band/40s; oldies (50s & 60s pop); classic rock; 80s music; Celtic; Indian; sdome African; country; even some punk(!).

So far, I think I like relatively modern art (e.g., Mondrian, Miro, Matisse, Dali).

I went to school with the creator of these paintings. I suppose they are good but I don't quite get this style. I am impressed by his dedication to doing what he loves over these last 40+ years.

These are just a sampling. He has so many!
