Are WHO testing on animals for Coronavirus?

Hello ,
I really want to donate to the World Health Organisation’s Solidarity Coronavirus Appeal, but I’m concerned that the donation will be used to fund and conduct animal experiments. Does anyone here know if WHO are using animals in their research?

I don't think WHO conducts tests themselves.
But the bad news is that as of right now in the US almost every new pharmaceutical requires (by the FDA) some animal testing before they test on humans. I recall reading something about how in streamlining the search for a vaccine they might just go ahead and waive the animal testing phase.
