It's nice to see one's favorite artists get attention and recognition - but the reality is that the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is a big ******* joke. It's just an exclusive club where artists are voted in by a select group of blowhards. There is no accounting for the selection process. Too many really awesome bands and artists have been left out. Much of the heavy metal genre have been ignored. Warren Zevon, Yes, Cheap Trick etc, etc. One could make an argument for a number of artists who are in or out. IE: Why is Green Day in and not Stiff Little Fingers?
