I went to a local market yesterday as I had a craving for the clementines with leaves on them as I associate them with Christmas. I found some and some avocado (and some very expensive asparagus) I have apples and bananas too in my fruit bowl.
I remember trying a persimmon a few years ago and it made my mouth all weird and cotton-y... apparently it wasn't ripe lol. I tried it again and I remember it being really sweet/good. I've been afraid to try it again because that cotton feeling was just awful. I don't trust myself to know when it's ripe enough to eat without it being over ripe.Spanish oranges, Pixie crunch apples, a persimmon, an avocado and a mango.
I succumbed to the temptation and bought two cantaloupe from Costco. I am an idiot.
The first one I cut tasted awful. I'm not too hopeful for the second one.![]()
Ugh, that is so disappointing, as a good cantaloupe is so enjoyable.I succumbed to the temptation and bought two cantaloupe from Costco. I am an idiot.

Haha, the blueberries would be my favorite of the bag! I've been eating lots of frozen berries, too, mostly blueberries and raspberries. I'm allergic to strawberries, sadly. I have had some frozen pineapple chunks as well. I love frozen berries in smoothies.Apples. I have been eating a lot of frozen berries the last few weeks...raspberries, blackberries and strawberries.
I bought a frozen berry mix from Costco that was really good only I'm not a fan of blueberries… So I sat and picked all of the blueberries out.
They are in a separate bag in the freezer. I'm going to have to figure out what to do with them.
Yeah, I hate the skins! I do like to cook them and puree with an immersion blender, add some sugar and add chia seeds for a jam. That is better for topping oatmeal, but I rarely bother
