My favorite kitchen tool is my ever-sharp chefs knife. I can do more with that tool than just about any other tool in my kitchen. If you're talking appliance type tools, I'd go with my food processor or maybe my pressure cooker. I really don't use any other appliances. I do have an emulsion blender I use frequently.
On my wish list though...I have always wanted a stainless steel mandoline slicer. I have a Starfrit mandoline that works okay. For the amount of times a year that I use it, it wouldn't justify spending close to $200 on a stainless steel one.
