I fancied that the other day. I think I will put some ice cubes in the freezer.Iced coffee...again
I don't know what's wrong with me... but I don't think I can tell the difference between lemon and lime, taste-wise or smell-wise (although I love them both). Maybe I should buy one of each and compare them side by side.
How do people even get these ideas?!!Kopi Luwak is the world's most exclusive (and most expensive) coffee. The main factor of its high price is the uncommon method of production. It is produced from coffee beans which have been partially digested by the Indonesian palm civet and then excreted. Yes, it sounds kind of gross, but not to worry
Lime is more bitter, less sweet, I think? Not that lemons are particularly sweet either.I don't know what's wrong with me... but I don't think I can tell the difference between lemon and lime, taste-wise or smell-wise (although I love them both). I like both, but I prefer lime, but tend to always buy lemons!
I'm having sparkling water with lemon slices now.
I wanted to make an iced coffee but started making it and then realised my husband has drunk all the soya milk! I just used water which I don't think will work. I will see when I try it.
They taste completely different.
I bought one of each this week and did a taste-test. I agree with @Second Summer : the lime had a very slight bitter undertone. I actually ate them like oranges, peeling them and eating the wedges/sections. I've heard the acidic juice can damage the enamel on your teeth, or at least temporarily soften it and make it less resistant to wear. So I immediately had a big drink of water, swishing it in my mouth each time before I swallowed. (TMI maybe...)Lime is more bitter, less sweet, I think? Not that lemons are particularly sweet either.
