Just joined. Day 1 of veganism having been a vegetarian since 1985....yes I know: what took me so long!
Any receommendations re good (mock) cheese replacements that are easily a/v?
I've been vegan for nearly eight weeks, previously veggie for three years or so. I've just put cheese off the menu and concentrated on vegan recipes. I haven't missed it at all, and I used to eat it a lot. I try to look at veganism as a new life where animals and animal products have never been a part of my life, so how can I miss them? So I don't look for substitutes, I just eat in a completely different way. Hope this helps.
