"Vegans" who eat meat...

Yep I know.

Has anyone else here met "vegans" who act the part but do, when pressed, reveal that you do in fact eat meat "from time to time"?

Its hard to know what to feel about these guys. They do a lot more good for animals than the average meat eater but something doesn't sit right with me about it, it seems fraudulent. Its like Rachel Dolezal pretending to be black to have some kind of moral authority in black academia or victimhood glory for a cause that isnt really hers.

Maybe that is not a perfect analogy. Anyway, I would be interested to hear your thoughts and experieces on this topic.

They are called chegans because they cheat. And beegans are vegans who still take honey.

The word vegan actually, largely, remains unaffected.

I do understand where you coming from but its better than nothing! By saying their vegan, they're hopefully making the diet better known!
