Well, it certainly has played a big role in popular culture with lots of iconic characters, and lots of interesting stories. And not to forget the cool intro and theme music! I've always been fascinated with the idea of UFOs and aliens, so it's not so strange I got hooked.

Yay... we have an X-Files thread on VV!

I love so many episodes it's impossible to list them all and I don't have the encyclopedic knowledge that DS possesses... but the giant sewer flukeworm that Forster mentioned above was a fun one! I also like the vampire one where Mulder and Skully each give their own account of what happened. My go-to episode however has always been Jose Chung's From Outer Space. If I was only allowed to watch one X-Files episode for the rest of my life, that would be the one.

^That was one of the best episodes ever!! Luke Wilson was great in it also.
