@Emma JC It's been about 2 weeks since your sister's fall on the ice; I hope she's feeling much better! It's been cool where I live, but it's suddenly warming up.

aw thank you Tom for checking in - turns out that the cuboid bone in her foot was broken and so she is wearing a boot for 6 weeks - the bruising is also clearing up and she is feeling much better

it is still cooler than normal here, although it is supposed to be 26C (over 80 F) on Tuesday and then back to the teens (mid 50's to 60's) after that for a couple of week - no snow, though... so that's good

I'll gladly send you some of the rain we've gotten today. It's been pouring since the wee hours. I think it stopped for about two hours, but it was windy, and then it picked up again a little while ago.

We finally got some much needed rain! Of course I had to go to the store in it but it was a nice rain, no storms, and now the sun is coming out which means it will heat up into the upper 80's later.

The much needed rain has arrived! It will rain pretty much all day today which is a good thing. Temperature will be down because of the rain but summer heat arrives later in the week.
