I wouldn't mind this cold so much if the sun were out, lol. It's trying to come out, but so far, it's a no-go. I'm supposed to go walking with a friend later, so I hope it warms up. It's only in the 30s F. Brrrr.

We had snow in parts of Connecticut. Not me, thankfully but it's still pretty raw and damp. I'm wondering if @PTree15 was spared.

My sister lives about 1.5 hours north of me and they had freezing rain, last weekend, so harsh that the entire area lost power and they still do not have it back. More of the same seems to be coming today... because I live within sight of a Great Lake (Lake Ontario) it moderates our weather so we don't get it as badly as those that live away from the Lakes do. We have immense weather swings at this time of year - today it is at the freezing mark and tomorrow supposed to be 18C which is about 70F. We won't be taking the snow tires off for a week or so.

it took 8 days for them to get their power back and then it snowed again the next day and my sister slipped and fell on the steps and twisted a tendon in her foot and landed on her elbow - all bruised up and now resting and recovering... they had been so careful all winter, not to slip and fall, and then spring comes along and gets her...

it is still very cold here also and Sunday Monday we expecting warmer weather than back to the 40s F for most of the week. UGH

I was not, lol. I was so annoyed when I saw my snow-covered car on Saturday morning! I had to bust out the winter coat again, too. I had just about retired it for the season. My scraper, though, doesn't leave the car until June. And my shovel is still out. New England weather ...

The temperatures are going to rise into summer like heat this week. 90's are expected and no rain in sight.

Overcast and feeling more chilly. It is supposed to get much warmer tomorrow and up to 21 next week.

Very warm again and no rain. Fire danger is very high.

The high today is supposed to be 82F . I really miss having a typical spring -- the nice, dry weather with temps in the 60s.<sigh>

@Emma JC It's been about 2 weeks since your sister's fall on the ice; I hope she's feeling much better! It's been cool where I live, but it's suddenly warming up.
