My sister lives about 1.5 hours north of me and they had freezing rain, last weekend, so harsh that the entire area lost power and they still do not have it back. More of the same seems to be coming today... because I live within sight of a Great Lake (Lake Ontario) it moderates our weather so we don't get it as badly as those that live away from the Lakes do. We have immense weather swings at this time of year - today it is at the freezing mark and tomorrow supposed to be 18C which is about 70F. We won't be taking the snow tires off for a week or so.

Overcast but quite mild. It was 17°C and sunny in Brighton, today.
April is starting off wet. I hate rain. I hate spring...it's my least favorite season... because it's always soggy...not enough nice sunny days. And the temps fluctuate too much as well.
It's slightly overcast but mild. I think that it'll be 23°C on Sunday. I'm planning to have cocktails with a pal by the riverbank in the

Yeah, the beginning of spring, but muddy, windy, rainy. You get a day or two of warm and sunny, the next I'm freezing cause I didn't take my coat.
It's been raining a lot here, and next week may have snow
It's sunny and in the 60s today, which is lovely, but tomorrow it's going back to rainy and raw. Bleh. I'm going to one of the Hands Off rallies with likeminded friends in RI tomorrow. I'll be dressing for cold rain, lol.

My friends were supposed to go to Hartford again but I think they are going to skip it because of the rain.
I've got decent rain gear, so I should be OK. I'm not looking forward to being cold, though, lol. I do have some insulated workout pants that I can wear (they have faux fur in them, and they are so warm), and I'll just layer up, wear my warm hiking socks, etc. I suspect turnout will not be great. Dang weather.

Three days of wet weather. We had a short break yesterday for a few hours but I'm waking up to rain again this morning. The next three days should be ok but then more rain expected. And it's cold. Below freezing at night and only in the upper 40's during the day. It's depressing me. I was hoping to have fewer days where I'd need the heat. I'm tired of these high electric bills.

Another very warm day today. Hopefully it will rain late tonight and cool us down. The rest of the week looks nice!
