I took a pic of my package with my cellphone, since I couldn't resist digging in any longer, and I wanted to make sure I got photographic evidence of everything still in tact.
My send was the ever-fabulous Swamp-Dweller! We have exchanged goodies on more than one occasion in the past, and once again she did a mahhhhvelous job.
For tasty vegan snacks, I have:
Lucy's gluten-free Maple Bliss cookies (What New Englander doesn't love anything maple?)
Mrs. May's sunflower crunch (sampling these now... addictive, to say the least)
Larabar, cherry pie flavor (Can't go wrong with Larabars... ever)
Trader Joe's 72% dark chocolate bars (3 pack)
VerMints chai flavor pastilles (Made in nearby Vermont)
A tin of Teavana tea. This one is a deliciously fruity blend of Gyokuro Imperial green tea and Berry Kiwi Colada herbal tea. If it tastes even half as good as it smells, I am a lucky lady indeed.
For the kitchen, I have:
An adorable purple bento box. I pack meals on the go DAILY so this will be great, if not for the office then certainly for long days of riding around, running errands with my boyfriend or impromptu picnics and warm weather hikes
A star-shaped pie mold for making pocket pies. I am eager to try this, not just with pie crust, but maybe even for making calzones or packet sandwiches. It's adoarble!
A refrigerator magnet featuring a pier in Naples, Florida, where Swamp-Dweller currently resides. I love the sunset view, and the fact that it's a local souvenir I can keep.
A large jar of an orange ginger spice blend. I have received other spice blends in prior exchanges, and it's so fun to get something unique and find as many ways as possible to utilize it in my cooking
For relaxation, I have:
A bar of organic Lettuce, Pear and Lime exfoliating soap, handmade by a company called Greenscape. It's reminiscent of cucumber melon in fragrance and delightfully springy and uplifiting
A natural soy candle by a company called Scentsational. The fragrance is called Tropical Paradise, very pineapple-y annd fruity and SUMMERY. The true strat of summer will be a ways off yet, here in New Hampshire, so this candle is my little dose of Florida sunshine, in the mean time. It makes me imagine laying on a sandy beach on an island somewhere, but without the risk of sunburn which plagues redheaded folks like myself
And last but not least...
For the kitties, I have:
Three little capnip mice for my three mischievous little fur kids.
Thank you, sincerely, for all the thought you put into your selections. I feel spoiled as always.
