A Bristol-based pie company has been crowned best Vegan Pie at the British Pie Awards 2025.

Pieminster, which started in Stokes Croft in 2003, took home the award for their Vegan Masala pie.

The pie-maker beat off over 30 mouth-watering entries in this category to take home the accolade.

Sainsbury's-49P

These butter beans are fabulous either in a stew or as an ingredient in a salad. They have a very creamy texture and make a very savvy meal.

The range is now available to buy in Tesco, Waitrose and Ocado, with a Sainsbury’s launch next week, and an Asda launch in June!

The versatile products are both made using fava bean protein, pumpkin seeds, flaxseed, hemp hearts, and chia seeds, as well as shiitake mushrooms and spinach.

WE’VE MOVED INTO OUR NEW PREMISES!

We’re now in Port Glasgow, just outside Glasgow, and it’s a beautiful spot!

We’re now able to make some of our smaller batch products, which you’ll find on our shop, as these are the products we can make without our big toffee cauldron, which is proving more problematic than we’d hoped to get installed in our new premises, but we’ll get back in full production as soon as we can!

The Fudge Patch in Bond St, the Laines, Brighton, after the London branch has just opened.

Lots of free samples. I especially enjoyed the strawberries & cream and the lemon sherbet. The fudge is delicious and the team are very friendly.
