A couple of pictures from a recent (last month) trip to Romania...

I believe this is called "Red Lake" (it sometimes looks red) and it is located in the Bicaz National Park.

And a butterfly. I haven't taken the time yet to look up what kind of butterfly it is but I imagine that it's pretty common to Europe.

I am very jealous of people who can take good pictures of insects. Mine almost always turn out awful.

It's not too difficult if you have a lens that you can manually focus. Just remember to try and get their eyes in focus and to photograph them at eye-level, that goes for animals and people most of the time too :p
