I kind of stumbled upon this video. Never heard of the band or song before, but it's quite catchy. I love the video.

One for the LGBTQ brigade ... if they have a sense of humour ...

I should dedicate this to my MEP Nikki Sinclaire. I don't know whether she walks like a woman, but she certainly talks like a man.

I suspect no one is laughing, so it's probably you.

Thanks for the abusive comment mate. I guess you can't help it if Ray Davies' wit is beyond your ken. Millions of people have enjoyed the humour in 'Lola' since it was released 44 year ago.

Here's another great song by another great artist (now sadly deceased). Be careful, Lou Reed's wit might offend your conservative politically correct insensibility:

I love Lola and find the lyrics very funny, it's one of my favorite songs. But, I took your comment as a dig and somewhat of an insult towards the LGBTQ community. You may not have meant it to be, but that's how it sounded.

All day today I've had Elvis Presley's song "Little Sister" going through my head... it has a simple but really catchy beat and bass line, and of course Elvis does a good job on it.

Little sister, don't you... Little sister, don't you...
Little sister, don't you kiss me once or twice
Say it's very nice and then you run....
Little sister, don't you do what your big sister done

Because there is no such thing as an 'LGBTQ Community', its an invention of the self-righteous PC brigade.

Back on topic with a song and it is probably a sign of getting old that I now like this:

As it's on Vimeo it's downloadable as anMP4 file - and yes I know that one of the women is wearing is wearing a fur coat which back in 1982 was almost certainly have been real, not faux.
