Last night I watched "Christmas Romance at Roanoke Ranch". I thought this was another rather amateurish production but it was about a horse rescue and horse therapy so I watched the whole thing. When I looked it up, I found that the TV station is real and the people were the actual employees of the station. The ranch is real too. It was a sweet story.

I am still watching Christmas movies. Last night I watched "Merv" which was a really cute romance. Merv is a dog who gets depressed when his people break up and share custody.
I've been mixing in (mostly Hallmark) Christmas movies as well. So far, I have watched:
Home Alone
Christmas Vacation
One Royal Holiday
A Crown for Christmas
A Royal Christmas
The Royal Nanny
Noel Next Door
Christmas Island
Christmas Sail
Gingerbread Miracle
Once Upon a Holiday
An Unexpected Christmas
The Christmas Secret

Upcoming:
A Christmas Story
It's a Wonderful Life
Five-Star Christmas
Next Stop Christmas
Christmas Waltz
Prancer

And probably a few more. :D
I'll also be watching the usual animated specials: Rudolph, Frosty, The Grinch, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, etc. I have them all on DVD :).

Last night I watched "A Dash of Christmas" which is another entertaining Christmas romance. It is about a woman who loses her job in advertising and has to do cooking video interview for a new job. She doesn't bake so she gets help from the handsome owner of a bakery. Predictable but cute.

I just watched "Doc Holly's Christmas." This is yet another amateurish production of a cute story. It takes place in the little town of Holly, Michigan and the ranch that appears in the movie is the same one as "Christmas at Roanoke Ranch." I recognized it so I am wondering if this movie was produced by the same company. The acting was pretty terrible but it was a typical Christmas romance so I kept watching it even as I thought it was really bad. LOL

I’ll have to look for this one lol.

Just watched "Festival of Trees." I enjoyed this one very much. It's about a Christmas tree decorating contest and is of course a sweet romance.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen this one… Another one I’ll have to look for.

I didn't realize that the movie I picked for tonight wasn't an actual Christmas movie but it was a sweet romance called "For the Love of Chocolate." The title grabbed me. LOL It was about a single dad who is talked into being the partner of a woman chocolatier in a contest. Predictable but cute and there was a cute little girl too.

I didn't watch that movie because I don't like the lead actress,Rhiannon Fish. I do like Jesse Hutch. He played in a couple of Hallmark movies, one of them with Candace Cameron Bure that I watch every year.

But I watched the trailer of For the Love of Chocolate and it does look cute. It definitely follows the typical hallmark formula but I think it is a GAF original. GAF is a spinoff of hallmark and several regular hallmark actors and actresses left and went over to GAF exclusively, including Candace Cameron Bure.

GAF is not as good as Hallmark, in my opinion but they are getting better considering they are a newer company. And having some of the veteran Hallmark actors and actresses definitely helps them.
