TV & Film Movie Lounge

I didn't watch that movie because I don't like the lead actress,Rhiannon Fish. I do like Jesse Hutch. He played in a couple of Hallmark movies, one of them with Candace Cameron Bure that I watch every year.

But I watched the trailer of For the Love of Chocolate and it does look cute. It definitely follows the typical hallmark formula but I think it is a GAF original. GAF is a spinoff of hallmark and several regular hallmark actors and actresses left and went over to GAF exclusively, including Candace Cameron Bure.

GAF is not as good as Hallmark, in my opinion but they are getting better considering they are a newer company. And having some of the veteran Hallmark actors and actresses definitely helps them.
As I don't have the Hallmark channel, I do not know these actors. LOL
I watched "Christmas in the Pines" and I enjoyed that one very much. It was about two families being forced together at Christmas when a real estate deal had a glitch and both a young man and a young woman won the bid for a cottage. There was some Christmas magic and a predictable outcome. It was fun!

Just finished watching an old movie from 1950 called A Christmas Wish with Jimmy Durante. And now I'm starting White Christmas. I saved my favorites for this week. 🥰

Coming up next will be Miracle on 34th St., the original. It's a Wonderful Life. Holiday Inn. Prancer. And of course more hallmark movies thrown in between.

I have saved my favorites for this week as well @KLS52.
I'm going to watch Prancer, Five Star Christmas and Next Stop Christmas today/tonight and A Christmas Story and It's a Wonderful Life tomorrow.

Jimmy Durante :grinning: !
I've made a tradition of watching the movie with his vaudeville family and the squirrel in the rafters.
The Great Rupert

Same movie!

Omg Rupert was in this one! And they were a vaudeville family. I wonder if they renamed it or if it's a sequel.

I just finished a Great American Family movie called Coupled up for Christmas… Now I am watching Hallmark's the Santa Class.

I have watched a couple more Christmas romantic comedies but I have totally forgotten the titles! LOL Not that impressive I guess.
Tonight I have just watched a concert/story by Trans-Siberian Orchestra based on the album The Christmas Attic. I love TSO and this short film (41 minutes) produced in 2001 was really sweet. It is the story of a young runaway girl who has a fantastic dream on Christmas Eve.
Now I will watch another comedy.
